For years the area immediately around Shepherd’s Bush Green has suffered from a lack of investment as it is surrounded by the BBC, industrial wasteland and several 1960s high-rise council estates. However, the opening of the vast new Westfield Shopping Centre to the north of the Green will no doubt have a major impact in its rejuvenation.
As a place to live, the closer to Brook Green the better, with the streets to the west of Shepherd’s Bush Road dominated by 2,500 square feet Victorian houses over four floors. Traditionally, buyers looking in Brook Green and Hammersmith will be focusing on this area as well.
